Snugglebugs and Infant Specials
These storytimes are designed for children from birth to 24 months old, with an accompanying adult caregiver. They feature lap games, tickles, bounces, and rhymes, followed by a playgroup for meeting and mingling. Siblings are welcome. See Library Events for the schedule at your branch.

That's a 10-4, Good Buddy! Do you like trucks? Come to this special storytime and hear stories and songs about trucks. We'll also do a truck craft. Bring a small Matchbox truck and we'll have our own convoy. Children 3 and under must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.

Service Learning Hours - KidWorks

Ages 12 - 17
KidWorks meets twice a month. At the 1st meeting we spend an hour planning a storytime for younger kids. At the 2nd meeting (12/10/2009 from 5:30-7:30 PM) we present the storytime. You must come to both meetings to earn 3 service learning hours.

Parenting Tip of the Day
Read books with your child every day. Even a few minutes a day are important. Books are fun and help build brain connections that help your child understand that stories have structure, meaning and order. Stories help build your child’s vocabulary.
